/Elite:

The Center Stage Elite is a select group of dancers from CSDA, who represent the studio to the public.  It is comprised of approximately 15-20 dancers ages 6 and up. The CSDA Elite has won many awards at various competitions around the midwest area.  They also participate in local talent shows, parades, and community events. The Elite’s main focus is to strengthen dancers who wish to take their abilities to another level through performing. In addition, they learn to work as a team, develop lasting relationships with their peers, and give back to the community.  Members spend the year rehearsing, performing, and attending professional dance events.  Being a member of the Elite is a wonderful experience and honor.  Dancers develop life long friendships and share lifetime experiences. This group is for dedicated dancers who love to perform and want to improve their skills.

I am a senior, Level One Elite competition dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing 9 years, all 9 at CSDA and all 9 at the competition level. My favorite style of dance is Tap. I enjoy tap because I get to be a musician using only my feet. I enjoy teaching, making lists of things, finding meaning, exploring music, breathing, and looking aesthetically pleasing. My short term dance goals are to perfect a reliable quintuplet turns and to take more ballet classes. Long term I aspire to dance professionally and to support myself doing something that I love. Something I want others to know about me is that I think Emoji’s are extremely strange.  

>Madison S.

  I am a senior, Level One Elite competition dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 9 years, all at CSDA, 8 of which are at a competition level. My favorite style of dance is the hard-hitting style of hip hop. It is so diverse and moldable. Outside of dance my favorite things to do is read and participating in plays and musicals. I am in Theatre 33 honors and National Honor Society @ West Noble High School.  My short term dance goal is to redefine what I think is normal, I want to experience dance in a way I’ve never experienced before. Long term I would love to be able to teach, sharing my love of dance with aspiring dancers. I am loud, funny, I laugh at dad jokes, and I am crazy weird.

>Kailey D.

I am an Elite Competitive dancer at CSDA; I compete at both level one and two, depending on the style. I have been dancing for 10 years, 7 years at CSDA, and 6 of which are at a competitive level. The style of dance that I love most is Tap; I feel that I am strongest in Tap compared to other styles. When Tapping I get to dance and enjoy the sounds I can make using my feet. My hobbies include: driving tractors, riding dirt bikes, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and being outside. In addition to dance I am in show choir and cheerleading. My goal for next year is to have my splits and advance my flexibility. When I grow up I want to become a physical therapist. Something I would like others to know about me is that I love cats, fashion, and make-up.

I am a Level Two Elite Competitive Dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 9 years, 6 of those years at CSDA, and 3 of those at a competitive level. My favorite style of dance is Lyrical it is a lot like Ballet, but with a little more flow and freedom. Aside from dance I enjoy reading and theatre, but dance is my favorite. My dance goals are to become stronger and extend my flexibility. I would love to take a Jazz class and challenge myself to learn and do more styles of dance. When I grow up I would love to be an actress or teach dance. Something that I would like others to know about me is that I LOVE DANCE!!

I am a Level Two Elite Competitive Dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 8 years, 2 of which are at a competitive level at CSDA. My favorite style of dance is Ballet; Ballet is technically strict and improves technique in all styles of dance. Outside of dance I stay busy in choir, theatre club, girl scouts and community service. I enjoy spending time with family and friends when I have free time. Long term I aspire to dance professionally with a company or to own a studio. Career alternatives would to be a physical therapist or a kindergarten teacher. Short term goals I have in dance are to take more Ballet classes and to keep loving what I do.

I am a Level 3 Elite Competitive dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 6 years, all 6 years at CSDA, and 4 of which are at a competitive level. My favorite style of dance is Lyrical, I feel like that I can express myself the most in Lyrical. In addition to dance I enjoy reading, basketball, cheerleading, and playing outside. My next goal in dance is to be able to join Lyrical classes. Long term I want to earn a living by becoming a famous YouTuber.

I am a Level 3 Elite Competitive dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 7 years, 4 years at CSDA, and 3 of those years at a competitive level. My favorite level of dance is Tap, I love to be noisy and tap gives me a good excuse. In addition to dance I like to color, write, and play Minecraft. When I grow up I want to be a dance teacher just like my mom.  My dance goals are to get all of my splits and perfect my wings in tap.

I am a Level 3 Elite Competitive dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 7 years, all 7 years at CSDA, 3 of which at a competitive level. My favorite style of dance is Contemporary, I feel like I can express my feelings the most in Contemporary. Besides dance, I love to sing. At home I like to make up dances and then sing and dance for my family. When I grow up I want to dance at a professional level and to share my love of dance with others by teaching. My short term goal is to have all of my splits by the time I am 11 years old. Aside from dance I like to play outside and jump on the trampoline.

I am a senior, Level One Elite competition dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 13 years, 10 of which are at a competitive level. My favorite style of dance is tap, it is fun and it challenges me. I enjoy drawing and painting, the thing I love most is sleeping. Someday I would love to travel the world, even better would be to travel the world and teach my love of dance to others. Short term, my goal is to perfect my turns and strengthen and shape my body to benefit my dance technique. I love student teaching alongside Ms. Brennan Stillman and aspire to become a teacher when I grow up.

I am a senior, Level One Elite competition dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 9 years, 8 at CSDA, and 6 of which at a competitive level. I love all styles of dance, in particular Tap, Contemporary, and Jazz. I also like musical theatre; I have not trained extensively in musical theatre but have enjoyed what I have done. I enjoy Jazz because it is a challenging character for me, Tap because it is loud, and contemporary because of how artistic it is. Aside from dance I spend most of my time doing homework and involved in church. Long term I do not have a career path set in stone, but I enjoy learning about psychology and would love to teach dance.  My dance goals this year is to improve my flexibility and strength, which in turn will help with my turns, leaps, and overall quality of movement. Something people should know is that I have a toxic habit of eating too much chocolate and regretting it later. YOLO.

I am a level Two Elite Competitive dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 9 years, this is my first year dancing and competing with CSDA. My favorite style of dance is Tap because I love the noise my feet make. Besides dance I love to read, be involved in my classes, and exercising. My dance goals include taking more Ballet classes, improve my turnout, and to gain more flexibility with my splits. When I grow up I would like to become a Doctor and a dance teacher. I really enjoy school and doing homework. Something I would like others to know about me is that I love pigs, dogs, and chasing squirrels.

I am a level Two Elite competitive dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 8 years, all 8 years at CSDA, and 6 of which at a competitive level.  My favorite styles of dance are Ballet and Lyrical, I feel like I can express myself most in these styles. At school I am very active in Show Choir, I love being a performer. I enjoy reading, drawing, and being outdoors. Short term, my goal is to improve my flexibility, improve my technique, and perfect my middle splits. When I grow up I want to be involved in dance in some way and possibly be a physical therapist or a veterinarian. Something I would like others to know is that I love fashion and food

  I am a senior, Level One Elite competition dancer at CSDA. I have been dancing for 13 years, 10 of which are at a competitive level. My favorite style of dance is tap, it is fun and it challenges me. I enjoy drawing and painting, the thing I love most is sleeping.
